Our approach to CSR continue to be business driven,
and our CSR initiatives continue to be structured around the
10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact, which we signed
in August 2011.
A key CSR focus area during 2012, has been the initiation of a
Safety Culture drive. A high safety level is key as a
responsible tanker shipping company. A high safety level is
also important across a number of principles relating to both human
and labour rights as well as environment and climate. Safety has
been integrated into our vision and values and moved to the top of
the agenda in all areas of our business during 2012.
