Until the agreement with Clipper Group, the strategy implied that Nordic Tankers was a "tonnage provider", which meant outsourcing of all operational as well as administrative tasks.

The future strategy for Nordic Tankers is to be the ideal platform for consolidation of the tanker market in the chemical tanker segment between 3,500-25,000 dwt. Nordic Tankers' intention is to be among the most profitable in the industry and thus to be an attractive investment opportunity. Nordic Tankers has an objective to ensure liquidity in the stock through actively attracting partners and consolidating with other shipowners.
